Colleen Swain

Colleen Swain has served as Director of the World Heritage Office since April 1, 2016, where she leads the City’s efforts to promote San Antonio's UNESCO-designated Missions through the implementation of community driven strategies that balance the needs of the resident and visitor. She coordinated the city's successful 2017 application to join the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in Gastronomy, and serves as the city's Focal Point for all UNESCO gastronomy initiatives. Previously, she held leadership roles in downtown development, cultural programming, and public space revitalization for the City of San Antonio.
